Fromm, in the art of being: (For self analysis) it may be helpful to focus around life goals, such as overcoming greed, alienation ... necrophilia.

Right there, in the middle of a list of sane things. WTF? This is like reading Jung (I think it was) and suddenly coming across something like "Such as the fatherland needing her fuhrer, which Germany now has in the form of our glorious leader...." So obviously I should alter my life goals; I obviously must be repressing my necrophiliac urges because I've never needed to overcome them. *tries to keep straight face*

Why are academic psychology books so often completely insane when you least expect it? ;) Oh, I get it. See subject.
